Flight Design CT2K
The latest addition to the Centre's fleet is the Flight Design CT2K ultralight. The aircraft is of composite construction, with carbon fibre being the primary material. This allows a very aerodynamic shape to the fuselage and very high useful loads (almost equal to the weight of the aircraft itself).
This comfortable, agile sports aircraft has excellent visibility, a high cruise speed and great range and is more reminiscent of a fully certified airplane, it offers one of the largest cabins in the class and has plenty of power to provide excellent performance.
The Thruster TST was introduced in the mid 1980s and was the first viable conventional control two seat and three axis microlight aircraft on the British market.
The T300 was a later development and was built under license in the UK, but production ceased in the early '90s.
The latest Thruster variant is the T600 Sprint, which is powered by a Jabiru engine and has a fully enclosed fuselage.
Comco Ikarus C42

A firm favourite with all our 3-axis pilots.
